The ISI is pleased to announce that Professor Dr. Holger Dette from Institute of Statistics at Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum, Germany, will serve as Editor-in-Chief of Stat from 1 January 2023.

We’re delighted to report that the 2021 Stat Impact Factor increased to 2.451, up from 0.917. Stat’s 5 Year Impact Factor has increased from 1.086 to 2.349.

In Memoriam: Ole Eiler Barndorff-Nielsen
ISI Elected member and Professor Emeritus at Aarhus University passed away on 26 June 2022 at the age of 87.

The King Baudouin Foundation has awarded the 2022 Rousseeuw Prize for Statistics to James Robins, Miguel Hernán, Thomas Richardson, Andrea Rotnitzky, and Eric Tchetgen Tchetgen for their pioneering work on Causal Inference with applications in Medicine and Public Health.
